BOARDMAN — Four people were arrested Thursday as part of an investigation into illegal gambling at two township businesses, according to a township police report and information provided by Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine’s office.

KINSTON, N.C. – An injunction issued from a North Carolina Superior Court Judge has allowed sweepstakes businesses to operate once again in the state.

HOPEWELL – The Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office recently received a letter asking about “Hopewell, Illegal Sweepstakes Games,” expressing concerns about activities in Cavalier Square.

Internet sweepstakes center advocates prevailed Tuesday night against more restrictions.

Undercover deputies were at Hot Spot Internet café in Ormond Beach all day Tuesday.
